      Housing Program Manager
      The Taos Housing Partnership seeks an innovative, highly motivated, team player to support local housing initiatives in Taos County as Program Manager. A successful candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills; demonstrate proficiency in project implementation, management, and assessment; and ability to build and strengthen partnerships among diverse populations. Experience with affordable housing or homeownership programs is preferred but not required. This position is full-time, in-person, with a competitive salary.

      POSITION SUMMARY:
      The Housing Program Manager leads and supports local housing initiatives in order to strengthen and affordable housing opportunities in Taos County. This role manages key programs, coordinates with local partners, and assists with project development, education, and fundraising activities. 

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
      ● Assist in the implementation and management of THP emerging housing programs that may include Homebuyer Education and Counseling, Technical Assistance to local builders and housing partners, local rental-assistance programming and other THP sponsored housing development projects.
      ● Coordinate community education, outreach, and stakeholder engagement.
      ● Work closely with THP consulting team on THP-sponsored housing initiatives.
      ● Assist with fundraising, grant writing, reporting, and partner development.
      ● Track program outcomes; maintain compliance and reporting requirements.
      ● Represent THP in meetings and community forums; build collaborative partnerships.
      ● Work closely with THP consulting team on training, development and implementation of a Salesforce platform that will connect current operating systems of calendars, cloud-based document storage, initiative trackers and program planning documents 

      ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
      ● Assist with Communication channels (website, social media, email, newsletters) to inform the community, gather feedback and address concerns.
      ● Assist with marketing strategy, including print ads, social media, and outreach materials.
      ● Engage and mobilize volunteers to support organizational initiatives.
      ● Track and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement/marketing efforts and provide data driven insights.
      ● Advocate for housing policies in collaboration with decision makers and community members.
      ● Additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
      ● Responsibilities may evolve as the organization grows. Additional duties may be assigned consistent with the scope and level of this role.

      EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
      ● Bachelor’s degree in public administration, planning, business, social sciences, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
      ● Minimum 3 year’s experience in program administration or community development required.
      ● Experience with affordable housing or homeownership programs preferred.
      ● Knowledge of Taos/northern NM community preferred.
      ● Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

      LICENSURE & CERTIFICATIONS:
      ● Must possess a valid US state driver’s license

      ● Able to work independently in a growing, mission-driven organization
      ● Strong relationship-building and outreach skills
      ● Comfort and skill in facilitating community stakeholder meetings
      ● Demonstrated ability to move complex projects from concept to implementation with multiple stakeholders
      ● Ability to travel to Questa, Santa Fe and occasionally Albuquerque for community engagement activities
      ● Must have reliable transportation.

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
      ● Primarily involves sedentary work performed in an office environment.
      ● Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
      ● Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
      ● Frequent use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment is required to perform daily tasks.
      ● Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to read and interpret documents, data, or reports.
      ● Ability to move within the office to access files or equipment.
      ● Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds, on occasion.
      ● Vision and hearing must be sufficient (with or without correction) to perform essential job functions safely and effectively.
      ● Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training purposes, or conferences.
