SOMOS Presents the 27th Annual TAOS STORYTELLING FESTIVA
* Storytelling Workshop w/ Eldrena Douma - Saturday, October 11, from 10:00 AM-12pm @ SOMOSIn her workshop titled; “Creating Stories Quickly”, participants will construct a story, first in a group then individually that has never been told, written or read.
$30 SOMOS Members/$40 non-members.
Students 18 and under are free.
* FREE Community StorySwap - 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM @ Hacienda de Los Martinez, 708 Hacienda Road, TaosA free community Story Swap facilitated by Storytellers of New Mexico.
Come one, come all – to listen and/or share a story to a welcoming and warm audience.
* Community Storytelling Event - 6:00 PM @ Talpa Community Center – 4 Archuleta Rd., Ranchos de Taosw/ Sage Vogel, Celinda Reynolds Kaelin, musician Chuy Martinez & featured teller Eldrena Douma accompanied by a traditional Northern New Mexico dinner
