Offered on select Thursday and Friday nights this summer, this immersive tour invites locals and visitors alike to witness the brilliance of New Mexico's legendary dark skies from one of its most iconic natural landmarks.

Founded in 2015, Heritage Inspirations offers ethically curated, immersive travel experiences that highlight the Land of Enchantment's landscapes, art, and culture. Their newest offering continues that tradition, inviting guests to shift their gaze from the dramatic depths of the gorge to the wonders of the cosmos above.

The hour-long program begins at 9 PM, where participants meet their local guide and on-site astronomer just steps from the Gorge Bridge. With minimal light pollution and sweeping views of the high desert, the setting provides an ideal stage for a night-sky experience. Using a high-powered telescope and laser pointer, the astronomer will guide guests through constellations, star clusters, planets, and distant galaxies.

To complement the evening, guests will enjoy local tea or hot chocolate and wrap themselves in cozy artisan blankets while soaking in the stillness of the landscape, surrounded by fragrant sagebrush, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and the distant flow of the Río Grande.
