      Owners:
      Cristina Portillo
      Luis Garcia

      Mission Statement:
Providing a place to share our love for original colorful, and unique one-of-a-kind pieces of folk art, jewelry, paintings, pottery and graphic art to our community and visitors.

      Years in business:
Coyote Moon opened in 1985 and has been in the same location for the past 40 years. We purchased the business in 2005. In the last 20 years, we have owned and grown this unique and colorful shop.

      Our Objective:
To hand select art that brings color and enrichment to the spaces and lives of those supporting our shop. We provide pieces of cultural significance, educate on process, and give value to each piece of art, print or jewelry. We connect with the makers to be able to share their stories and those of their pieces.

      Community Contributions:
We work with local artists in Taos and throughout the state of NM to provide a space in our shop to showcase their work. Bonfires on Bent Street is one of our largest community events that we (John Dunn merchants) put together to bring our community together and share our gratitude for their support throughout the year. Without our community we would not be able to continue doing what we love.

Location:    120-C Bent Street, Taos, NM
