The new season opens with a multimedia meeting of music and culture from the East and the West. A world premiere of composer Andrea Clearfield’s arrangements for TCMG inspired by her Tibetan music fieldwork in the northern Himalayan region, includes Avalokiteshvara (Compassion) and Tse Go La (At the Threshold of this Life) for voice, flutes, string quartet, piano and gongs.
