Jane Lin & Mary Cisper: Two New Mexico Poets Read from Their Debut Collections Jane Lin will read from her collection, Day of Clean Brightness (3: A Taos Press, 2017), described by Arthur Sze as “…a moving, luminous book…” Lin's work has appeared in Cura, Five Points, New Madrid, Slant, Spoon River Poetry Review, The Collagist, The Harwood Poetry Anthology, and The Mas Tequila Review. Besides poet, Lin is a software engineer for an environmental consulting firm in northern New Mexico. Mary Cisper’s collection, Dark Tussock Moth, (Trio House Press, 2017), winner of the 2016 Trio Award, was described by Cedar Sigo as “an achingly beautiful debut.” Cisper’s poems and reviews have been published in Denver Quarterly, ZYZZYVA, Lana Turner, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Terrain, Water-Stone Review, FIELD, and Omniverse. Sometime visual artist and former chemist, she lives in northern New Mexico.
