    Eric Mack has written and radio-ed about climate. science and technology for NPR, CNET, Forbes and a number of other outlets for years, usually just before disappearing into the Sangre de Cristos on foot, ski or pedals for the rest of the day. Jim O'Donnell is a Taos writer and conservation photographer. He is the author of “Notes for the Aurora Society: 1500 Miles Across Finland on Foot” and “Rise and Go”. He is also to blame for numerous articles, sordid tales, brilliant observations, half-finished novels, angry letters-to-the-editor and other scribbling. His work has appeared in National Geographic Maps, BBC Travel, Trend, New Mexico Magazine, Matador, Peaks and Plains, Traveler’s Tales, Perceptive Travel, Vrai Magazine and many others. Not only does she write short stories but she also writes poetry and is working on a novel titled “the in-between.” She is a vegetarian and loves animals of all kinds. When she grows up she is planning to combine writing and her love of animals and write environmental science and fiction.
