Blue Bus Begins Fare-Free Service from Taos to Taos Ski Valley Feb. 29
Traditional Start Date Delayed Due to Labor Shortages
Taos, New Mexico – Feb. 26, 2024 - The North Central Regional Transit District (NCRTD) is pleased to announce the commencement of seasonal service for its Blue Bus Route 341 TSV Green route, offering convenient and fare-free transportation from Taos to Taos Ski Valley starting on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024.
 
With the ski season in full swing, NCRTD is committed to providing accessible and efficient transportation options for residents and visitors alike.
 
“We want to thank Taos area residents and visitors for their patience,” said NCRTD Executive Director Anthony Mortillaro. “Due to a shortage of drivers across the District, the NCRTD was forced to delay the start of the winter-only service that typically begins in the month of December. A new driver for the route was recently hired and has completed the required training to start the service on Route 341 TSV Green.”
 
The route will operate Thursday through Sunday from until March 24, offering service to various stops including the Town of Taos, El Prado, Arroyo Seco, Valdez, and Taos Ski Valley.

• Trips and service hours: Two round trips per day departing at 7:30 a.m. and 3:25 p.m. in Taos and departing from Taos Ski Valley at 8:40 a.m. and 4:35 p.m. See attached schedule for details.
