    Jim Kristofic, author of Navajos wear Nikes (University of New Mexico Press, 2011) presents his new book, Black Sheep, White Crow and Other Windmill Tales: Stories from Navajo Country (University of New Mexico Press, 2017). Illustrated by Dine artist Nolan Karras James, this book for all ages is about traditional Navajo wisdoms in a strange land. Copies of will be available for purchase. Jim Kristofic has worked on and off the “Rez” for more than ten years as a river guide, journalist, park ranger and oral historian. He has written for the Navajo Times, High Country News, and Native Peoples Magazine. He currently lives in Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico.
