Marjorie Eaton first arrived in Taos, NM in 1928. Eaton said, “I realized I had found my soul when I arrived in Taos.” This will be the first exhibition to focus on Marjorie Eaton’s vast portfolio of work, not only as a modernist painter, but also as a photographer and actress. The show will also provide an unprecedented glimpse into Eaton’s personal life through never before seen letters, photographs and personal effects. Don't miss this special opportunity to intimately experience this pioneering female artist whose efforts from the early twentieth century and beyond continue to resonate today. An opening reception for Marjorie Eaton: A Life In Pictures will be held on Saturday, April 6, 6-8 pm. In the Fechin House. Support for Marjorie Eaton: Her Life In Pictures provided by the Elizabeth A. Sackler Museum Education Trust.
