Outstanding regional fiber market featuring 60+ juried vendors offering a wide variety of animal fiber and related items; including fleeces, roving, yarn, finished items from hats to footwear to rugs to wall art and fiber related tools. The Fiber Critters Corner allows close-up looks at the animals that produce the various fibers, including llamas, sheep, alpacas, goats and angora rabbits. Hands-on activities for kids of all ages introduce the concepts of fiber arts such as weaving and felting. Contests hand-dyed, handspun, finished garments and home accessories as well as various spinning competitions, comprise some of the other activities at the festival. There is also Silent Auction featuring many unique fiber related items. Live music will be provided by regional musicians in a range of genres, throughout both days of the festival. Food and refreshments will be available from several vendors serving regional lamb, fresh-made crepes, soups, espresso drinks, smoothies and more.
