WHO: Hosted by the Town of Taos Events; sponsored by The Taos News, the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, and D.C Barrone Photography. It is open to all community residents, visitors, and families.
WHAT: Movies on the Green Community Day (part of the 2026 Summer Series). A free, alcohol-free, family-centered celebration featuring a DJ and live music by the UZ Band, carnival rides (a giant slide and Thea’s Zoo ride), a foam party, food vendors, character appearances, over 25 community booths, and a concluding outdoor screening of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (1991).
WHERE: Red Willow Park in Taos, New Mexico.
WHEN: Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM (Movie starts at 8:30 PM).
WHY: To bring the community together for an evening of entertainment and outdoor fun, while creating lasting memories and connections for families and residents of all ages.
