McCarthy Plaza Summer Music Series: Stephanie Urbina Jones

This summer, the heart of Taos comes alive with music! It’s the McCarthy Plaza Summer Music Series on historic Taos Plaza – 18 weeks of free live music, featuring local favorites, regional artists, singer-songwriters, bands, drumming, dancing, and more.

This Sunday, 9/13 at 4pm, welcome Stephanie Urbina Jones to the plaza stage. Before East Nashville was the shimmering capital of the “New South,” it was a collection of creaky porches, barefoot walks down McKennie Avenue, and a tight-knit circle of artists making music for nothing but the soul of it. Stephanie Urbina Jones, the trailblazing Latina voice of Americana, has reached back into that era to retrieve a masterpiece she once thought wasn’t “good enough” to share.
