2026 Taos Halloween Community Event
When: Saturday, October 31, 2026 | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Where: Taos Plaza, Bent St., John Dunn Shops, Teresina Ln., & Juan Largo Ln.
Highlights:

Trick-or-Treating & Games: Merchant candy stops, trunk-or-treat, and carnival games. Free treat bags for the first 1,500 kids.

Costume Contest (4–5 PM): Roaming judges on Taos Plaza for kids (0–12), teens, families, and pets (no sign-up needed).

Entertainment & Extras: DJ music by New Mex Records at the Gazebo, face painting, free vintage photo booth ("The Pearl"), and hot cider at the TCA patio.
Logistics:

Road Closures: Taos Plaza & Bent St. closed to vehicles from 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM (pedestrian access and shops open).

Parking: Street meters are free for the event through the evening.
