SOMOS presents Chris Rugeley and Karen Thibodeau

SOMOS presents the 7th Annual Prose Month featuring: Karen Thibodeau has been project director for Taos Children’s Theatre (TCT) since 1988 and directed numerous productions for TCT, acting as producer as well. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from California Western University and an elementary teacher’s credential. Ms. Thibodeau has worked for years as an artist-in-residence in New Mexico, Hawaii, and New York, instructing in storytelling and puppetry. Currently she teaches and performs at West Side Family Preschool in New York. Chris Rugeley was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Colorado. He has a BA from the University of Montana and an MA from San Francisco State University. His writing has appeared in The Florida Review, Journal of Poverty, and elsewhere. He currently lives with his wife in San Francisco and Northern New Mexico, where he is at work on his second novel.
