She was a Finalist in The Artist Magazine's Annual Art Competition in 2013. The artist has been featured in Southwest Art Magazines three times from 2014 through 2018. As a "Taos IS Art Lamppost Banner" winner\, her work was featured on a 30" x 60" banner on Paseo del Pueblo Sur for six months in 2018. The theme for Allegra Sleep's exhibit is "Time\, Travel"\, which ties together two of the artist's bodies of work. The artist often paints scenes from the past\, including figures of Historic Taos\, as well as portraits of Taos families from days past. Allegra also paints scenes capturing transportation in the modern era. In "Time\, Travel" the past and the future meet. The artist has shown and is collected internationally\, most recently in shows in France and Germany.
