DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Public Lands Day by giving back to the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. Friends of the Rio Grande del Norte and Backcountry Hunters & Anglers are bringing volunteers together for a fencing project on the north end of the Monument.\n\nVolunteers will help create wildlife-friendly fencing near San Antonio Mountain. The project will improve the landscape for wildlife while supporting the long-term care of our shared public lands.\n\nA free BBQ lunch will be provided.\n\n\n\nJoin us for a morning of hands-on stewardship and help make a lasting difference on the Monument.\n\n \n\n\nMeeting location: Meet at 8 a.m. at the cattle guard located 3.5 miles west of Highway 285 on Forest Service Road 87.\n\n\n\nWork location coordinates: 36.8176\, -106.03755
