Bruce Williams was born in San Antonio well over three quarters of a century ago. After receiving his MFA from Sophie Newcomb Art School (Tulane U.)\, he taught fine art at the college level. His career as a teacher brought him to Southern California where he fell in with the movie makers. It wasn't long before a summer job as a scenic carpenter led to a new calling as an "art dog". He "retired" to Taos after a long career in the scenery and prop making side of show biz. Since that time\, he has directed his efforts to the design and craft of furniture....
