DESCRIPTION:Ballet Taos Summer Company Project returns to the stage to present two ballets in two acts by two choreographers for two TWOFOLD performances.\n\nExperience professional dance in Taos\, two evenings only\, August 1 & 2\, 7:00pm at the Taos Center for the Arts\, Community Auditorium. For our sixth season of Summer Company Project\, we will be presenting a split-bill entitled: 'TWOFOLD' with eight returning extraordinary professional guest artists joined by Ballet Taos Academy Summer Intensive pre-professional students.\n\nAct I\, classical\, Mendelssohn's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' choreographed by Artistic Director of Ballet Taos\, Megan Yackovich.\n\nAct II\, contemporary\, 'Jock Rocks' choreographed by Mr. Jock Soto\, New York City Ballet.\n\nJoin us in support of northern New Mexico performing artists.\n\nArt is vital. Movement is essential. Dance is pivotal.
