To kick off the annual Lilac Festival in Taos, the Fechin House is proud to sponsor this special concert featuring three players from the acclaimed quintet, Sybarite 5.
The vibrant performers of Trifecta Trio(Sarah Whitney, violin; Angela Pickett, viola; Laura Metcalf, cello) join forces with acclaimed oboist Andrew Parker in an imaginative concert that takes the audience from sublime Mozart to cutting-edge compositions written by their friends.
Laura Metcalf on cello is a Taos School of Music graduate, and will be playing a cello made right here in Taos by David Caron.
Prepare to be amazed by the energy and virtuosity of these musicians – chamber music as you’ve never heard it before.
The Fechin House is located a quarter mile north of Taos Plaza on Paseo del Pueblo Norte, the main route through town. The Fechin House and grounds contain the Taos Art Museum.
