The Taos Art Museum Store, known as the go-to spot in town for unique gifts handmade by local artists, has added new artisan merchandise in preparation for Yuletide in Taos. Artists represented include ceramicist Rachel Donner (Nicolai Fechin’s own great granddaughter!); micaceous clay potters Ben Romero and Betsy Ortiz; and local jewelry artists such as Jacqueline Gala, Jools by Jo, Lyle Wright, Darlene Ryer, Ron Wesley, and Claire Brandenburg. For those looking for holiday items, the museum store is carrying one of a kind ornaments by Sandy Short created from gourds she finds around Taos; chile wreaths made at Gonzalez Farms; beautiful and often whimsical cards by Live Johnson and Valerie Graves; as well as gorgeous and meaningful Santos by Clare Villa – and so much more!
